The country holds an estimated $1-3 trillion in untapped mineral deposits including lithium, copper, and rare earth elements. Agriculture employs about 60% of the workforce, with wheat, fruits, and nuts dominating output. The mining sector remains largely undeveloped despite massive reserves — China and Pakistan are the primary trade partners, absorbing most legal exports.
